Safety critical standards, such as 61508, are large and complex. The RiskCAT requirements tools permit rapid and intuitive navigation around the standard(s). They provide a simple calculation of SIL and the selection of measures by key word, life cycle or function using or/and criteria. A simple click of the mouse pulls up the relevant part of the standard, with interfaces to DOORS, ARTISAN and CalibreRM or Spreadsheet
Other tools include a stand-alone SIL calculator and a static analysers for the executable in the ROM or flash. CATS tools have been used on the highest level of safety critical work around the world
The seven parts of the IEC 61508 standard are complex. This tool provides almost instantaneous selection of the correct measures for any situation, from whole project down to measures for a specific team. It also gives rapid and intuitive navigation around the standard and has an interface to DOORS and CalibreRM. It includes PDF's of of IEC61508 parts 1,2,3,4 & 7. > Link to

RiskCATs is the toolset when safety is the top priority. This tool is for IEC 6880:2006 (Nuclear Safety). It also has a corrolation module for IEC 61508. Navigate around the standard and output requirements lists in seconds.
RiskCATS have the tool for this standard in the roadmap.

QualiCATcompares the test result achieved for each characteristic with the target value defined and calculates how well it meets the quality target for
• the sections of the standard
• the standard in total.
The goal of measurement mostly depends on the quality level (SIL) needed. Features/ specifications or themes which do not achieve the quality target can be specifically selected in QualiCAT. > Link to
This is static analysis with a difference. It takes the compiled binary rather than the high level code to produce analysis, structure trees and calling charts of the binary as released in the hardware. This also provides timing analysis and exact memory analysis > Link to
Reliability Computation Implements the provisions of IEC 61508 for calculation of the maximum Safety Integrity Level (SIL) for which a hardware system is suitable based on its failure characteristics. > Link to
