The Development Process has been shown to have more of an effect on Software quality than any other cause. PhaedruS SystemS has been involved in Engineering Process since the days of BS 5750, the forerunner of ISO 9000. To the surprise of many the choice of programming language has relatively little effect on the instances of erroneous behaviour (bugs). PhaedruS SystemS has been a member if the ISO/IEC and BSI C and C++ Language Panels since 1997 and convener of the C panel for 4 years from 2000. PhaedruS SystemS has also been part of MISRA-C since 1998 and on the MISRA-C Steering Committee since its inception.
